Background of FOXO4
Transcription factor involved in the regulation of the insulin signaling pathway. Binds to insulin-response elements (IREs) and can activate transcription of IGFBP1. Down-regulates expression of HIF1A and suppresses hypoxia-induced transcriptional activation of HIF1A-modulated genes. Also involved in negative regulation of the cell cycle.

We are currently using anti-Phospho-AFX (Ser197) antibody P01819 for human tissue, and we are satisfied with the WB results. The species of reactivity given in the datasheet says human, mouse, rat. Is it likely that the antibody can work on monkey tissues as well?

The anti-Phospho-AFX (Ser197) antibody (P01819) has not been validated for cross reactivity specifically with monkey tissues, though there is a good chance of cross reactivity.
