Background of Brk
Transcription factor involved in the regulation of the insulin signaling pathway. Binds to insulin-response elements (IREs) and can activate transcription of IGFBP1. Down-regulates expression of HIF1A and suppresses hypoxia-induced transcriptional activation of HIF1A-modulated genes. Also involved in negative regulation of the cell cycle.

Yes, we need to have a licensing agreement, for many purposes but primarily to ensure the continuous supply of this product, which the researcher would need. We should ask them to discuss more details including the expected demand of this antibody. Since this is a polyclonal antibody we need to produce ahead of time and validate to ensure it keeps working properly for the customer.

We are currently using anti-Phospho-Brk (Tyr447) Polyclonal antibody P01881 for human tissue, and we are content with the WB results. The species of reactivity given in the datasheet says human. Is it true that the antibody can work on zebrafish tissues as well?

The anti-Phospho-Brk (Tyr447) Polyclonal antibody (P01881) has not been validated for cross reactivity specifically with zebrafish tissues, though there is a good chance of cross reactivity.
