Background of p120-catenin
May be a regulated effector of stress granule assembly. Phosphorylation-dependent sequence-specific endoribonuclease in vitro. Cleaves exclusively between cytosine and adenine and cleaves MYC mRNA preferentially at the 3'-UTR. ATP- and magnesium-dependent helicase. Unwinds preferentially partial DNA and RNA duplexes having a 17 bp annealed portion and either a hanging 3' tail or hanging tails at both 5'- and 3'-ends. Unwinds DNA/DNA, RNA/DNA, and RNA/RNA substrates with comparable efficiency. Acts unidirectionally by moving in the 5' to 3' direction along the bound single-stranded DNA.

4 Customer Q&As for Anti-Phospho-p120 (Tyr228) Polyclonal Antibody
Question
Do you require any kind of licensing agreement with the researcher who wants to evaluate a Boster polyclonal antibody for possible inclusion in a commercialize product?
Verified customer
Asked: 2022-07-05
Answer
Yes, we need to have a licensing agreement, for many purposes but primarily to ensure the continuous supply of this product, which the researcher would need. We should ask them to discuss more details including the expected demand of this antibody. Since this is a polyclonal antibody we need to produce ahead of time and validate to ensure it keeps working properly for the customer.

Asked: 2019-10-21
Answer
The anti-Phospho-p120 (Tyr228) Polyclonal antibody (P02333) has not been tested for cross reactivity specifically with horse tissues, but there is a good chance of cross reactivity. We have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in horse you can get your next antibody for free. Please contact me if I can help you with anything.

Question
Does anti-Phospho-p120 (Tyr228) Polyclonal antibody P02333 work on bovine WB with prostate cancer?
J. Zhang
Verified customer
Asked: 2018-12-27
Answer
Our lab technicians have not validated anti-Phospho-p120 (Tyr228) Polyclonal antibody P02333 on bovine. You can run a BLAST between bovine and the immunogen sequence of anti-Phospho-p120 (Tyr228) Polyclonal antibody P02333 to see if they may cross-react. If the sequence homology is close, then you can perform a pilot test. Keep in mind that since we have not validated bovine samples, this use of the antibody is not covered by our guarantee. However we have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in bovine prostate cancer in WB, you can get your next antibody for free.
