Background of JNK2

Responds to activation by environmental stress and pro-inflammatory cytokines by phosphorylating a number of transcription factors, primarily components of AP-1 such as c-Jun and ATF2 and thus regulates AP-1 transcriptional activity. In T-cells, JNK1 and JNK2 are required for polarized differentiation of T-helper cells into Th1 cells.

Question

Does anti-Phospho-SAPK/JNK (Thr183) antibody P02706 work on feline IHC with middle temporal gyrus?

G. Krishna

Verified customer

Asked: 2018-07-26

Answer

Our lab technicians have not validated anti-Phospho-SAPK/JNK (Thr183) antibody P02706 on feline. You can run a BLAST between feline and the immunogen sequence of anti-Phospho-SAPK/JNK (Thr183) antibody P02706 to see if they may cross-react. If the sequence homology is close, then you can perform a pilot test. Keep in mind that since we have not validated feline samples, this use of the antibody is not covered by our guarantee. However we have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in feline middle temporal gyrus in IHC, you can get your next antibody for free.
