Background of SCN7A
Mediates the voltage-dependent sodium ion permeability of excitable membranes. Assuming opened or closed conformations in response to the voltage difference across the membrane, the protein forms a sodium-selective channel through which Na+ ions may pass in accordance with their electrochemical gradient.

We are currently using anti-SCN7A antibody A09448 for human tissue, and we are content with the IF results. The species of reactivity given in the datasheet says human. Is it possible that the antibody can work on zebrafish tissues as well?

The anti-SCN7A antibody (A09448) has not been tested for cross reactivity specifically with zebrafish tissues, though there is a good chance of cross reactivity.
