Host
Rabbit
Contents
TMIGD2 antibody is supplied in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide.
Clonality
Polyclonal

IgG
Immunogen
TMIGD2 antibody was raised against an 18 amino acid peptide near the carboxy terminus of human TMIGD2. The immunogen is located within the last 50 amino acids of TMIGD2.
Cross-reactivity
TMIGD2 antibody is human reactive. At least two isoforms of TMIGD2 are known to exist; this antibody will detect both isoforms. TMIGD2 antibody is predicted to not cross-react with TMIGD1.
Reactive Species
A11415 is reactive to TMIGD2 in Human

Background of TMIGD2
TMIGD2 (transmembrane and immunoglobulin domain containing 1), also known as immunoglobulin-containing and proline-rich receptor 1 (IGPR1), is novel adhesion molecule that is expressed in multiple tissues, primarily in cells of epithelium and endothelium origins (1). TMIGD2 is thought to be involved in angiogenesis and regulates cellular morphology, homophilic cell aggregation, and cell-cell interaction. TMIGD2 activity also modulates actin stress fiber formation and focal adhesion and reduces cell migration (1).
Antibody Validation
Boster validates all antibodies on WB, IHC, ICC, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA with known positive control and negative samples to ensure specificity and high affinity, including thorough antibody incubations.

Immunohistochemistry Validation of TMIGD2 in Human Small Intestine Tissue
Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human small intestine tissue using anti-TMIGD2 antibody (A11415) at 5 μg /ml. Tissue was fixed with formaldehyde and blocked with 10% serum for 1 h at RT; antigen retrieval was by heat mediation with a citrate buffer (pH6). Samples were incubated with primary antibody overnight at 4˚ C. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) at 1/250 was used as secondary. Counter stained with Hematoxylin.
