The TOMM20 protein is a member the Tom20 protein family. It contains 145 amino acids and 16.3 kDa of mass. TOMM20 functions include protein-transporting and ATPase activities, mitochondrion-targeting sequence binding, post-translational modification, and protein-transporting ATPase activation. It is also known under the name mitochondrial 20kDa outside membrane protein. Several suppliers offer TOMM20 antibodies. The cost varies, but the cost of a specific antibody will vary, based on the immunogen length.
To use this product, heat mediated antigen retrieval was performed in citrate buffer. The tissue section was then blocked with 10% goat serum. After incubation at 4 C, the tissue section was incubated with 1ug/ml rabbit antibody (M04039) for overnight. After incubating the tissue with the secondary antibody, the slide was developed with DAB.
Boster Bio Anti -TOMM20/TOM20 is a monoclonal antibodies that reacts to Human TOMM20. This antibody is stable in storage. It can keep at -20°C up to one month. The antigen itself is a 16.3-kDa, short protein. It has highly conserved areas, including a transmembrane, ligand-binding domain and flexible segments. The tom20 protein is found in many tissues. It's particularly abundant in the pancreas and thyroid.
The TOMM20Marker is an optical density marker that can be used in single cells to determine the mitochondrial mass. The markers were compared to those from benign prostate tissue. Researchers can benefit greatly from the TOMM20 mark. Read on for more information. These are just a few of the benefits. TOMM20 was developed by a team from the University of Washington.
