Receptor for the cytotoxic ligand TNFSF10/TRAIL.
Lacks a cytoplasmic death domain and hence is not capable of inducing apoptosis.

Protects cells from TRAIL mediated apoptosis possibly through ligand competition. Can't induce the NF-kappa-B pathway.
