Background of ARHGEF7
Integrin alpha 1 (ITGA1) chain associates with the beta 1 (ITGB1) chain to form a heterodimer that functions as a dual laminin/collagen receptor in neural cells and hematopoietic cells. ITGA1 has a 206-amino acid I domain in its N-terminal half, followed by 3 divalent cation-binding sites and a C-terminal transmembrane domain with a short cytoplasmic tail. It also has 28 potential N-glycosylation sites. Human ITGA1 was expressed in a mouse fibroblast cell line as a 180-kD protein. ITGA1 is involved in the early remodeling of osteoarthritic cartilage and plays an essential role in the regulation of mesenchymal stem cell proliferation and cartilage production. It also plays an essential role in the regulation of MSC proliferation and cartilage production.

Does anti-ARHGEF7/Beta Pix antibody A02764 work on horse WB with neuroblastoma?

Our lab technicians have not validated anti-ARHGEF7/Beta Pix antibody A02764 on horse. You can run a BLAST between horse and the immunogen sequence of anti-ARHGEF7/Beta Pix antibody A02764 to see if they may cross-react. If the sequence homology is close, then you can perform a pilot test. Keep in mind that since we have not validated horse samples, this use of the antibody is not covered by our guarantee. However we have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in horse neuroblastoma in WB, you can get your next antibody for free.

We are currently using anti-ARHGEF7/Beta Pix antibody A02764 for human tissue, and we are satisfied with the WB results. The species of reactivity given in the datasheet says human, mouse, rat. Is it true that the antibody can work on primate tissues as well?
