Immunogen

A synthesized peptide derived from human IKKi/IKKe Phosphorylates inhibitors of NF-kappa-B thus leading to the dissociation of the inhibitor/NF-kappa-B complex and ultimately the degradation of the inhibitor. May play a special role in the immune response. Protects cells against DNA damage-induced cell death.

Background of IKK epsilon/IKBKE

Furin is likely to represent the ubiquitous endoprotease activity within constitutive secretory pathways and capable of cleavage at the RX (K/R) R consensus motif.

Antibody Validation

Boster validates all antibodies on WB, IHC, ICC, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA with known positive control and negative samples to ensure specificity and high affinity, including thorough antibody incubations.

Question

We are currently using anti-IKBKE Monoclonal antibody M01816 for human tissue, and we are well pleased with the IF results. The species of reactivity given in the datasheet says human. Is it likely that the antibody can work on pig tissues as well?

Verified Customer

Verified customer

Asked: 2019-10-09

Answer

The anti-IKBKE Monoclonal antibody (M01816) has not been tested for cross reactivity specifically with pig tissues, but there is a good chance of cross reactivity. We have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in pig you can get your next antibody for free. Please contact me if I can help you with anything.
