Reactive Species
AZQ5XIZ4 is reactive to ACOX1 in Zebrafish
Background of ACOX1
Predicted to enable fatty acid binding activity; flavin adenine dinucleotide binding activity; and palmitoyl-CoA oxidase activity. Predicted to be involved in fatty acid beta-oxidation using acyl-CoA oxidase and very long-chain fatty acid metabolic process. Predicted to act upstream of or within fatty acid beta-oxidation. Predicted to be active in peroxisome. Is expressed in several structures, including female organism; immature eye; liver; pleuroperitoneal region; and subcutaneous fat. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in Mitchell syndrome and peroxisomal acyl-CoA oxidase deficiency. Orthologous to human ACOX1 (acyl-CoA oxidase 1).
Antibody Validation
Boster validates all antibodies on WB, IHC, ICC, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA with known positive control and negative samples to ensure specificity and high affinity, including thorough antibody incubations.

IHC analysis of ACOX1 using anti-ACOX1 antibody (AZQ5XIZ4).
ACOX1 was detected in a paraffin-embedded section of zebrafish liver tissue. Heat mediated antigen retrieval was performed in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0, epitope retrieval solution). The tissue section was blocked with 10% goat serum. The tissue section was then incubated with 2 μg/ml rabbit anti-ACOX1 Antibody (AZQ5XIZ4) overnight at 4°C. Peroxidase Conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG was used as secondary antibody and incubated for 30 minutes at 37°C. The tissue section was developed using HRP Conjugated Rabbit IgG Super Vision Assay Kit (Catalog # SV0002) with DAB as the chromogen.
