Catalyzes the three successive steps of the methylation pathway of phosphatidylcholine biosynthesis, the SAM-dependent methylation of phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) into phosphatidylmonomethylethanolamine (PMME), PMME into phosphatidyldimethylethanolamine (PDME), and PDME into phosphatidylcholine (PC). .
