Background of GAPDH
The enzyme glyceraldehydes-3-phosphate dehydrogenase is a tetramer of identical chains that catalyzes the reversible oxidative phosphorylation of glyceraldehydes-phosphate in the presence of inorganic phosphate and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide. This is an important energy-yielding step in carbohydrate metabolism. GAPDH is found in almost all species with low rate of evolutionary changes.
Antibody Validation
Boster validates all antibodies on WB, IHC, ICC, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA with known positive control and negative samples to ensure specificity and high affinity, including thorough antibody incubations.

Question
We bought anti-GAPDH antibody (monoclonal, GAPDH-71.1) for ICC on prostatic carcinoma in the past. I am using rabbit, and I plan to use the antibody for IF next. We are interested in examining prostatic carcinoma as well as lymphoblast in our next experiment. Could you please give me some suggestion on which antibody would work the best for IF?

Answer
I have checked the website and datasheets of our anti-GAPDH antibody (monoclonal, GAPDH-71.1) and it seems that M00227-6 has been validated on rabbit in both ICC and IF. Thus M00227-6 should work for your application. Our Boster satisfaction guarantee will cover this product for IF in rabbit even if the specific tissue type has not been validated. We do have a comprehensive range of products for IF detection and you can check out our website bosterbio.com to find out more information about them.
