2 Customer Q&As for Anti-LAMP2a Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody
Question
The predicted molecular weight in M01573 says 45 kDa but one of the western blot image in your website shows 110 kDa, how is it possible?
Verified customer
Asked: 2022-07-25
Answer
For the Anti-LAMP2a Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (M01573), it is a membrane protein, a CD molecule. The predicted molecular weight is 45kDa, which is the molecular weight of amino acids only. The actual membrane protein has many post-translational modifications, such as glycosylation, which will lead to a larger detected molecular weight.
