Designing an IHC experiment for Nanos homolog 1? The guide has the expected staining pattern, antigen retrieval and fixation, antibodies backed by real IHC images, the tissue controls to run alongside, and protocols taken from published papers.
Open the NANOS1 IHC GuideFacts about Nanos homolog 1.

Expressed in the oocyte. Transiently expressed in eight-cell embryos. At 12.5 dpc, it is re-expressed in the central nervous system and the expression continues in the adult brain, in which the hippocampal formation is the predominant region. Expressed in the seminiferous tubules of mature testis, but not in the primordial germ cells.
