Tissue Specificity

Expressed at high levels in erythrocytes and testis (in Sertoli cells), and, at lower levels, in skeletal muscle, tonsils (in follicular dendritic cells), lymph node, spleen and appendix (at protein level). Also expressed in many adult and fetal nonerythroid tissues, including brain, spleen, lymph nodes and bone marrow.

Steven Boster

Steve Boster, a former employee of the San Angelo Police Department, died June 26, 2022. He was born in San Angelo Texas. He was an Emergency Medicine physician for 33 of his life. In his free time, he enjoys painting landscapes, animals, and other subjects. His style is a mix of early impressionism and realism. Boster is fond of vivid colors and loves to work with realistic detail. Boster was an avid hunter and outdoor enthusiast for most of his adult life. He is survived by his daughters Crystal Boster und Natosha Poeck, 6 grandchildren and 4 brothers - Jack Bosterand Sandra Blanton.

The KEL genes is an antigenic determinant for human chromosome 7. Recent studies have shown that it is located on chromosomes 7, 33, and 7.35. These studies also suggest that the antigenic molecules of KEL protein may not be sugar molecules, but are part the polypeptide cycle. Although the antigenic components of the KEL genes are still unknown, several references have been made to the KEL marker.
